About this service

AIMhi for Youth (AIMhi-Y) app, is a brief, supported, and self-guided mental health intervention for young people 12-25 years. It embeds guidance from elders, building connection with country and language and is based on the 4-step Stay Strong care planning approach.

This service may help:

  • First Nations young people learn about mental health and wellbeing
  • Promote help seeking and good mental health
  • Young people to set goals for making lifestyle changes

The Stay Strong concept of practice has evidence for effectiveness and for acceptability. A feasibility study has shown improvements in wellbeing after 4 weeks use of the AIMhi-Y app
