Overview
Head to Health Pop Up services are part of the broader Head to Health initiative. From 2021-22, the Australian Government is establishing a network of community mental health services under the Head to Health brand to provide multiple entry pathways (website, phone and face-to-face through physical centres and satellites) into mental health services.
Head to Health Pop Up services were initially established as an emergency response to provide additional help and support to people of all ages living in NSW, Victoria and the ACT who were experiencing mental health issues because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Head to Health Pop Up services in NSW and Victoria will continue in the interim, to support continued access and transition to new ongoing mental health support services.
Head to Health Pop Up services in the ACT have transitioned to the permanent Canberra Head to Health centre. People living in the ACT can continue to access services through the centre and through calling 1800 595 212.

How to access services – if you are in NSW or Victoria, call 1800 595 212
You can take the first step towards finding mental health and wellbeing support that is best for you. The sooner you talk about your mental health, the sooner you’ll get the support you need to help you move forward and feel stronger.

This is not a crisis service. For urgent support, call Lifeline 13 11 14 or SuicideLine 1300 651 251. If you need immediate help or are at risk of harm to yourself or others, call 000 now.
Head to Health Pop Up mental health hubs offer free telehealth or COVID-safe face-to-face appointments. Services are delivered by a team of skilled mental health professionals.
