Supporting New South Wales communities

10 New 'Head to Health Pop Up' mental health clinics announced

Residents of NSW will now have access to additional mental health support with 10 new ‘Head to Health Pop Up’ mental health clinics opening to the public.

The Australian Government recognises the ongoing restrictions needed to stop the spread of the virus are having a significant impact on the mental health of individuals and communities in NSW.

$10.6 million is being invested to establish these free clinics across 10 Local Government Areas currently under extended COVID-19 restrictions.

Clinics are located in Lakemba, Hurstville, Tuggerah, Kingswood, Thornleigh, Shellharbour, Blacktown, Parramatta, Bankstown and Liverpool.

The clinics will be further supported by a state-wide intake and assessment phone service, also in operation from 6 September 2021. This service will provide a single entry point for people living across NSW to access a range of mental health services.

Phone 1800 595 212 for further details on how to access services.
